This compilation contains non stop PSAs from the 70's and 80's ranging from "No Smoking" to "Alcohol Abuse"... this is an exciting compilation because there is none like it anywhere on or off-line.
This compilation has 1-Hour 52-minutes of vintage PSAs and will continue to expand in time until it is a 2-hour compilation.
Many people are searching for a PSA compilation and had a hard time finding them. I read people talking about them and not many seemed to know where to find such a compilation.
Well, look no further... I am determine to round up those PSAs from old videos and compile them.
The PSAs are mixed and in no particular order in years, and all are from the decades of the seventies and eighties.

FYI, this PSA compilation is being released to the public prematurely due many requests. As time marches on, when I acquire more PSAs they will be discreetly added to this compilation until it is complete. It needs 8-minutes worth of PSAs, and I am releasing it to those who can't wait for it's completion. So it is now available "AS IS", and I think you are going to be impressed at the quality of PSAs I've added (which includes disturbing nightmarish ones.)

Side note:
Since the 1990's was a new "hip" television generation, PSAs seemed to use less scare-tactics and more fun "Hip-Hop" music in their commercials to get a point across.
There was a Smokey Bear PSA in 1994
with him in a Recording Studio trying to make a "hip-hop" PSA in the form of a rap music video about preventing forest fires. He became frustrated with the idea and took off his hip-hop clothes, walked off the set and said: "I'm going to give it to them straight", then he walks in front of the camera and says: "Only you can prevent forest fires." LOL, even "Smokey the Bear" was going to start making "hip-hop" PSAs, and realized it was a foolish idea... and decided to be direct and honest with the viewers, because he knew the viewers weren't buying into a Smokey the Bear who raps and wears a "hip-hop" outfit.
Since this is a new generation of people working in TV programming, television has become more flashy and fast-paced... and it pretty much lost it's charm. So if you watched old commercials from the 70's through 1996, you'll notice the creative quality began declining when companies started mentioning their websites in the TV commercials... and it all went downhill from there.
So tell me something, when was the last time you saw a PSA on television? The only recent ones are the "Truth" PSAs about Smoking. Scary PSAs are virtually gone from television, and they frequent the AM Radio Stations in the wee hours of the morning... so don't sleep with your radio tuned to an AM station, because you never know when one of those PSAs suddenly pop up while you are half asleep.

It seems there were PSAs for just about everything wrong in society at the time. Today, Public Service Ads are less common on American Television... and more frequent on local Radio Stations (particularly AM Stations.) I suspect the Reagan Administration was behind the overwhelming amounts of PSAs in the eighties. Because when Reagan left office; these Public Awareness Ads became less frequent... and new "friendlier" PSAs began emerging around 1991 such as: "Be Cool. Stay in School." along with a series of animated PSAs from "A Partnership for a Drug-Free America".

This volume has adults commercials from the beginning to the middle, and kids commercials towards the end. A great video for anyone from the Tri-State area, and it also contains some PSAs.

HELPFUL HINT:
Just a little note to help you on making a decision on which volume to get. Don't worry about the videos not having a particular commercial that you want. I've been getting e-mails asking for particular commercials that I either don't have or can't remember which Volume it is on.
I've only included the summaries on each volume to give you an idea of which video would better suit you.
Many companies never mention what commercial is on the video, they just mention the decade of where the commercials reside in.
Never base your decision on the summaries I have listed, because every video is completely different from the other.
Remember that these are "Television Air Check Broadcasts" and they are not your average video of TV commercials that others are offering. I have left in all the extra goodies to make it look like the actual broadcast and not just a video of regular commercials.
They are the exact same commercials that aired in the time frame listed on these pages. So make your decision based on the years of the commercials and not the actual ads, you will appreciate them better this way.
